The Milonga du musée is a free Argentine tango event organised every Wednesday evening by the association A Bailar Tango, now in its 14th edition. It takes place on the open-air parvis of the Musée Fabre in Montpellier.
Each evening begins with a tango initiation session from 19:30 to 20:30, welcoming complete beginners and those wishing to brush up on the basics. The milonga — a social tango dance gathering — then starts at 21:00 and runs into the night.
The series runs from Wednesday 17 June through Wednesday 9 September 2026, taking place every week throughout the summer. Admission is free.
