MÉTROPOLIS 2 is a late-night programme at MTELUS spanning techno, UK bass, IDM and live post-punk experimentation across a dancefloor-focused evening. Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO (UK) brings his celebrated selector skills across house, techno and grime. Montreal duo CUERPOS (Francis Dawson & Nadia Duman) celebrate Latin American heritage through a world premiere set fusing house, techno, post-punk and dub. UK artist Facta — Wisdom Teeth label co-founder Oscar Henson — presents a Canadian premiere blending UK dubstep, grime and techno with ambient and jazz textures. Montreal instrumental quintet Patche fuse modular synths, punk drive and Berlin School techno in a live band format. Closing the bill, Ryan Lee West as Rival Consoles is joined by David Sydiongco for the Canadian premiere of atmospheric IDM drawing from the new album "Landscape from Memory".
