For his debut at the Festival de Lanaudière, Canadian pianist Bruce Liu — who rose to international fame after his resounding victory at the Warsaw Chopin Competition — presents two brilliantly virtuosic concertos, including the rarely performed Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 3. He is joined by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal under the baton of its music director, Rafael Payare.
The programme opens with Penderecki's Sinfonietta No. 1, followed by Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, Op. 26, and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 75. The concert closes with Prokofiev's Scythian Suite, Op. 20.
The performance runs approximately 1 hour 40 minutes with an intermission.

Bruce Liu is a Canadian-Chinese classical pianist who gained international recognition after winning the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in 2021. His notable works include his debut album *Miroirs* and his celebrated interpretations of Frédéric Chopin's piano concertos and solo works.
