Johnson is an Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comedian, actor, and NAACP Award winner who grew up in Louisiana and built his career in Chicago. He currently serves as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show and previously spent six years writing for the same Emmy and Peabody Award-winning programme, as well as writing for and appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Known for his sharp social commentary and broad appeal, Johnson has been recognised by Comedy Central, Just for Laughs, and Variety as one of comedy's fastest-rising stars. He won 'New York's Funniest' at the 2018 New York Comedy Festival and has amassed nearly 4 million followers across social media.
