This double-bill programme brings together two distinct contemporary dance works under one evening. The first piece, 'Nulle part' (35 minutes), is a solo created and performed by Léo Hit Coupal. Blending breakdance with spoken-word poetry, it takes the form of an intimate ecological fable exploring sensory overload, disorientation, and the search for meaning in a fragmented world.
The second work, 'The Choreographic Garden – Vegetal Transformation' (45 minutes), is created by Hanna Sybille Müller. Drawing on the biology of lichens as a metaphor for symbiosis and coexistence, the piece explores themes of interdependence, mutual adaptation, and resilience. It also incorporates personal grief—specifically the loss of a close artistic collaborator—framed as a transformative rather than rupturing experience.
Performances run November 5–7, 2026 at 7:00 pm, and November 8, 2026 at 4:00 pm. A Québec Sign Language (LSQ) interpretation and a post-show discussion with the artists will be offered on November 6.
