X/VISIONS 1 is a concert-hall programme at Maison symphonique presented as part of MUTEK Montréal 2026, pairing two internationally recognised contemporary composers whose work centres on the pipe organ and electroacoustic music.
Kali Malone, based between Stockholm and Paris, is known for meditative pipe-organ and electroacoustic compositions that explore historical tuning systems. Canadian composer Kara-Lis Coverdale bridges acoustic and electronic mediums with a particular focus on pipe organ, and has been praised by The Guardian as one of North America's most exciting composers.
The programme alternates between dense organ and string textures and more minimalist passages, offering an immersive concert-hall experience rooted in contemporary composition.
