Richard Strauss's operatic masterpiece Der Rosenkavalier (Le Chevalier à la rose) returns to Montreal for the first time in over thirty years, presented in concert version as a co-production between Opéra de Montréal and the Orchestre Métropolitain. The work is celebrated for its nostalgic Viennese waltzes and Mozartian comedy, wrapped in music of extraordinary elegance and expressivity.

The Orchestre Métropolitain provides orchestral support.
The opera is performed in German with French and English surtitles. Tickets range from $92 to $265 (taxes and fees included), available through Opéra de Montréal and the Orchestre Métropolitain.
